If you're stuck working at a desk all day, what's the best type of chair to have? What's your opinion of those aeron- type chairs? Do they help the situation at all, or am I better off with a stool and forcing myself to sit upright?
Rather than your buttocks touching the back of the chair, what's most important is your postural alignment. This means when looking at you from side lateral position that your eye, shoulder and hips line up. In actuality, the back of the chair isn't necessary as it prevents your own muscles from engaging and holding you up.
Good question, guess i forgot to clear this up. The have good, proper prosture, with your eye, shoulder and hips lined up, you really can't use the back of the chair. It's fine if you want to rest back yet you must understand it will take you out of alignment, and therefore create more muscle imbalance.
oh man, this needs to go viral, i'm always sitting at my desk like a rolled up mutilated octopus
