Hope I don't get the Lauren Hart fans mad but every time I hear the duet with Kate Smith it's like chalk screeching on a blackboard when she sings. I'm sure she's a great wife and mother but putting her next to Kate Smith isn't making her sound good....................Kate OWNS God Bless America..............

um really? the flyers had this tradition, notice how i said tradition, WAY before the hawks did. the hawks started doing their little dinky thing with that annoying guy who does nothing but vibrato when he sings in the mid 80's. the flyers got this tradition going in 1972. Seeing them together never gets old. I watch the faces of the Flyers then & now and I'm reminded of the history of this great team and the legacy of 74 & 75. Both teams have that look. Don't want to jinx them, but this has got to be their year, too many similiarities for it not to happen.
