  • Two of my favorites: George Harrison and Paul Simon. I remember when this first aired: thought I'd died and gone to heaven..

  • A great cover! And a true legend.

  • Not the best version !

  • I was in the audience during this session. It was filmed on the Thursday night before the Saturday it aired. I yelled out do Dark Horse HGeorge and he played the whole song for me.

  • I remember this like it was yesterday! COOL POST! FYI: Paul was at John's on Central Park West watching the show live. When George did the bit with Lorne Michaels about the pay and Lorne was explaining that the dollar amount quoted was for all 4 of them (a joke) Paul has said in MANY interviews that he and John we thisclose to popping over to 30 Rock, but had been enjoying some quality Mary Jane and said "Oh, hell with it. It's too cold out anyway!"

  • @CountessClassicRock A magic memory of true, pure music history

  • did you use a tape recorded? where you there?

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember watching this when it originally aired.

  • Always think George sings American songs best (except for his own of course)

  • That's Ok. This was great to hear. Thanks again.

  • Thanks for uploading this. Never knew about it!

  • @brenda19ish Unfortunately I can't upload "Rock Island Line" from my collection :(
