Using made-up words to teach rhythmic patterns is very limiting in my point of view and is similar to using icons (kanji, kataka or chinese characters) for each word instead of using basic letters. There are much better techniques for learning and understanding rhythm that using funny words to remember patterns. That terrible approach also limits poets and musicians in terms of their creativity in creating completely new patterns. Again, my personal opinion.

the thing is that I don't see his method limiting at all,
on the contrary it is creative. the analysis for the words to be set with the notation was very strong as well,
anyhow this is how i see it,
at the end of the day music is meant to satisfy different tastes,
mine is quite different than urs I suppose,
