I know SHINee, they are doing quite well in Korea. Super Junior, they did not split up, they are always doing their own stuffs after the promotion of each of their albums, they are currently preparing for their 3rd album.

Well, SNSD is wasted, I hope they'll be forgiven coz I like them a lot..

BoA is at US now, DBSK is well, everywhere haha.. so they are not the only ones..

I think it's more of promoting what works, for the companies, I reckon. In Korea, talent is usually in the shadow of appearence. And let's face it, these girls aren't very "cute" compared to the other girlgroups today. It's a shame to see them go to Japan just to get recognized for their talents. They're amazing and I wish SM would promote them in Korea =(

But they were known as the female ver. of DBSK therefore it's not surprising to see them going the same path as the boys, they were always promoting in Japan since 2006, just that in 2008, they will fully focus on Japan. Just like DBSK... and also BoA? hehe..

They're called TSZX (CSJH ) the grace. Four members including LINA, DANA, SUNDAY, and Stephanie. Really good dancers and singers. They're Korean Acappella group.

They're really, really, really good. Best female group in Korea, imo. (Youtube some of their performances in Korea ^^!) They're currently trying to break the Japanese market ... hope this year is a good one for them. They deserve it. They are so underrated; I don't understand it at all :(.
