make it cheaper. at this price...i can buy a small laptop and something like numark mixtrack for the same price. make it around $250 and maybe I'll buy it
@scotchtapedude the tonium pacemaker does not have built in speakers, however it does have a 3.5mm (1/8") jack headphone output and a 3.5mm (1/8") jack line ouput.
Nice piece but wouldn't it have made more sense ergonically & aesthetically to build it where the 2 "wheels" are horizontal & not vertical? It looks like it would have been made a little larger to accomodate a look & feel that's horizontal like a real DJ setup. They said it was copied after the look of the PSP but once again thats' played horizontally.
IT's designed to be handheld, and I know you want to compare it to a PSP, horizontally, however that's not the aim of the device. The top half isn't used for control often, and so one hand holds the device steady while the other performs complex controls. Not to mention this allows better control on the alt. trigger (where your left thumb rests)
Unfortunately it does not have a crates feature, this would be really good and may be a possible future firmware upgrade. see pacemaker(.)net/device/ for more details and updates.
Why do all these videos claim the hard drive is 120GB when it's really only 60?

cos then left handed people would reach across the screen to reach the control side. or have a more awkward time using it
