Hey Christians, there is really no point arguing with fellow children of God here. We would be bombard by questions which we do not have an answer for. We are Christians because we love God, and because we love Him, we trust in Him, we don't have to prove that God is right. It's simple isn't it? Agree with the person below. Africans have black skin because they make the own 'sunscreen' makes sense since it's very hot. But I do believe the simplest organisms had to come from somewhere.
So heres my question for those who believe in the theory of creation. Why are there different race, why are there black people,white people, asian people? Accordint to the bible, we were all killed by the great flood and our ancestor is noah, so wouldnt that make us all look alike? why arent we the same?maybe because we adjusted to the environment were in? for example african people being black because of the hot weather, white people being white because of the cold weather
So what about animal instincts, that should change somehow to cause the instincts of an polar bear are diffrent then from a black bear but that would mean that at some point an animal would ignore its instincts or be born without..?
@sientguy thats called natural selection, polar bear didnt need the black bear instincts so it rejected it and kept the more dominant instinct needed for surviving in cold place.For example why is the color of the polar bear white and why is the color of the black bear/grizzly bear black or brown, its because polar bears "adjusted" their color for the snowwy environment and the black bear "adjusted" its color for jungly environment
So for all the complex life on our planet a hundred billion and one things had to come together just perfectly and somehow it all magically did....Hard to believe...
Not saying I have the answer as to why or how we exist but this explanation seems to have some holes.
It isn't very scientific to believe that life evolved from a rock. That is the theory of evolution. Life only comes from previous life. Life does not come from non organic material. Fossils only prove one thing, that such an animal lived. It does not prove it had any offspring. Carbon dating, Uranium-Lead dating, radioactive dating are all flawed. DNA is so complex, it could never evolve into what it is. It is a super program with its own encoded language. Accident? Random? I think not.
I'm just curious how evolution explains plants on high mountains, or plants in general ! Did plants existed at time when life was so simple and all in water ?
@XW0RKS Why would the Theory of Evolution have trouble explaining plants on high mountains? Maybe you're thinking of something I'm not, but it's probably not an issue. Also, I may be rusty on the subject but plant evolution is interesting. Obviously it started as small and less complex (and needing to be in water) but evolved to handle more arid conditions. Plants that could live with less water than it's neighbors could survive farther from water (Tidal from Ocean, Coast from Tidal, etc)

@MegaMryuri because that's not scientific. We will find the chemical origins of life sooner rather than later. Science is all about asking questions and then go and find the answers. If you say god created life, you give an answer to a question, but you don't investigate it, therefore it's not scientific. Believe in God if you like but keep him out of science for this very reason.
It does not matter if the bible is right or wrong its the message thats important. So if its written everything was created in 7 days, so what if its 70 million years. Who knows maby God is actually mother nature.

Almost all, if not all, of the points this documentary makes are valid with or without evolution. They aren't proof of evolution and they are assumed and can be explored by creationists. These guys will only offer natural selection, and mutations to support evolutoin. They won't tackle the issue of how the DNA they keep talking about kept getting new distinct features and how exactly it could even exist in the first place. They won't telll you how an animal would turn into another animal. All they will give is natural selection, mutations, and fairytales. Neither of which is against a creationist view. Its the outside natural enviornment that influences the animal to progress and flourish. the antelope can outrun predators.... if something as fast as a ferrari was hunting the antelope then perhaps they would either speed up or die. its all about survival.
