God I loved this as a kid probably my second fav (very close to my #1 orcarina of time took me so long to beat) wish I had more time to do some of the other endings but I just did the whole story and got the final showdown with Lavos ending, oh well still good!
I got something slightly different here, Crono's mother didn't showed up, the bell was set in place by Merle and after that she starts flying away with the balloons, Crono "cathces her" and they both fly away while the credits roll, saw all the videos for the endings but not that one, what happened there?
The games like this are amazing and always will be. I have actually done the whole "Call of Duty" thing in real life and prefer not to play it with a bunch of immature 12-year olds.. I just may be getting old, but new games now do not appeal to me whatsoever..
Ok I watched all of the endings and I recall there beiing one where crono and marle get caught by the balloons from the bell and go floating through the air? where is that on at?
I miss this game and those 'carefree' days so much...that it hurts my heart now when I'm already an "adult" in "real working-world"...it's just different, everything.. ;__;
@nikiwonoto No it isn't. Your nostalgia prevents you from seeing that your childhood was far from carefree and that right now you have more freedom to do what you want than ever before. You don't have to "miss" any game because you can pick it right up and start playing.
@AWESOME90002 it isnt horribly written,im sure you havent played,and you judged it before even attempting to play it,its a great story if you follow through and actually have imagination
@Tormentros haha good thinking... there are a bunch of inconsistencies in Chrono Trigger about time travel... still one of my fav rpg's though... next to Final Fantasy III
@Tormentros Had they killed Lavos in prehistory, humanity and technology would have never advanced (Lavos' Frozen Flame was the reason humans evolved and developed technology).
When they say that they saved the past, they mean that they saved humanity by thwarting the Reptites' attempts to destroy Ayla's tribe.
I got every ending on tha game i had to find out everything .....

If you think that JRPG stories are rubbish, you've obviously never played any of the Final Fantasy games on the SNES, have you?

Rofl at first I thought Crono did the "YES!" gesture because he didn't have to deal with his mom anymore. How sad lol

@TenouHaruka0 Lmao isn't that why he did the "YES" gesture?

@evee608 Thank you for your well-written, elegant reply. However, two points to conisder:
1. The 'story' in this game is the usual poorly-written, hackneyed gibberish that appears in JRPGs.
2. I don't play 'Cod'.
