It does not look like a green ray at all. It looks like a green flash - completely different things. It doesn't look fake, I've seen the green flash myself, it pretty much looks like that. xD Sometimes longer, sometimes short like that. =P Sometimes you see it smaller and closer to the horizon, and sometimes it's higher up. It really depends on the atmospheric conditions at the time it happens . . .
A bit too cloudy for a real green ray I suspect but nice all the same. :O)
