  • There are 7 sticks :)

  • the sticks dont burn if they are green and you cook over embers

  • light it up. i want to see it work...

  • EVERYTHING is gonna burn.

  • wow worst 42 seconds of my life i`d rather watchh dora exploer

  • Wow the people who comment on this video are idiots, obviously if you use dry wood it's going to burn. Which is why he said to use "new" wood, reffering to green wood, fresh off of trees, it'll last about 15-20 minutes if kept above the flames, pleanty of time to cook most foods. You can even replace the wood if you're that paranoid.

  • ok one the frecking floor can go on fire have rocks around it it will make a safer fire and better to cook

  • will covering them in tin foil prevent fast burning?

  • Fire fail?

  • Good idea, I have used this myself. There's always an abundance of willow by streams and rivers, but other green wood can be used. Don't get discouraged, young man, you're doing well. Well done!

  • terrible

  • Dont agree with you bro.. u gotta show that the sticks aint gonna burn up!! ... Think of another idea.....

How about takin a piece of meat , making a hole thru its longitudinal axis, and sticking a piece of long wood like your grills that you showed, and puttin it across the fire on 2 stones... That way the fire is not gonna burn the stick inside the meat, but gonna BBQ the Meat Instead.. Which is cool.. n what we want...

    Bon Appetit!!!

  • I thick its pretty cool

  • @MegaBeastCamper if you light the fire the whole grill will catch on fire eventually, burning the food or just collapsing.

  • @Skelvior69

Obviously you know nothing about outdoor cooking NO FIRE just Coles very hot Coles

So you can cook using the green sticks as a grill

All thought you need to remove the bark first

That is where all the mold and bacteria are

Man ya know I just wish we could put all you people that do nothing but write all the - comments on a plain with almost no fuel and fly you all over the mountains or over the ocean

  • @winnipegdiver Wow is that English?

  • epic fail

  • Fail

  • it's simple, you have to cook with the hot coals, not with the actual fire. that willl work.

  • I hate tto say this, but kid you need to learn how to play with matches!

  • Anybody who thinks this will work deserves to die. Obviously the live branches will burn if you get a fire that is hot enough to cook food with.

  • but does it work?

  • they wont burn if you cook over coals, you dont need actual fire to cook

  • u do no the sticks will burn

  • @welder4570 he can just take the sticks on the top off of trees that are alive. things that have juice in them dont burn.

  • and how wont your wooden grill burn? :L fail.

  • this video proves kids would die in a survival situation lol.

  • @Schutzstaffel23 He's just showing what you can do. If you put them higher above the flames, they wont burn

  • @Cstrife234 i think you kind of missed my point. lol

  • i tried this took a fish wraped it in tinfoil..caught my pants on fire becuase i fell...but it realy works!

  • but than again, you didnt make fire.. whats a grill for with out a fire.?

  • LOL, that will be gone soon. Whats funny is you can boil water in a leaf though! Try it find a huge leaf and try it, that's the beat survival technique.

  • @Arteolike You can boil water in a lot of things.

  • hey kid im 11 and btw i want you to know DO NOT USE ANY OTHER WOOD USE LIKE OAK...SOME WOODS IF USED TO COOK WILL POISON AND KILL YOU !!!!so be safe please

  • i have a good idea. get hollow sticks and fill them with water and clog the ends of the stirks sot they wont burn.tell me it it works

  • yuo can better use a big stone instead of wooden sticks :p

  • 10/10 not bad for your age

  • the meat will taste horrible, rather just make a bonfire

  • Me and my friends do this stuff all the time.....use green sassafrass it wont burn for a long time...im subbin!!!!!

  • Those sticks will not burn if he keeps them cool by putting water over it..

    Ha Ha Haaaaaaaa

  • eventually the sticks r gonna burn and along with the sticks your foods gnna fall into the fire to

  • boy this was so gay cuz the sticks are going to burn!

  • you can stack more stuff and make them higher

  • Keep the sticks moistured (Don't pour water on it that will put the fire out. Pretty obviously) or get them higher of ground. And hunteddown848 not to be an asshole but this video is kinda ridiculous. If you got the fire and the food you do not need a grill there's many ways to cook it. And most people would just use the most simple way. Using a stick to pierce trough the meat and then cook it over the fire. And if you got to leave it, just give it something to lean on fx a rock.

  • @hunteddown848 yeah

  • @hunteddown848does not matter cus there gonna collapse if you want your fire to be close enough to the meat or whaterer ur cooking the sticks are gonna warm up two and eventually egnite and break

    (tested this one out)

  • @hunteddown848 you should really wet the sticks that way they wont burn as quick :)

  • @hunteddown848 how would that help?

  • @welder4570 What if you soak the sticks in water for a long time?

  • @welder4570 if you want it not to burn put live wood

  • good job! good information! 5/5

  • Cool. Thanks for the demo.

    5/5

  • you could raise the sticks up a lot higher and use it as a smoker, but if you have the sticks that close to the flames, they will catch fire and burn

  • this is why we use live, green sticks
