  • SALUDOS , EN CRISTO.

    FELICITACIONES POR ESTE VIDEO.

GRACIA , FE , VERDAD Y SALVACION EN DIOS , NUESTRO DUEÑO ,Y SEÑOR.

    SALUDOS , EN CRISTO.

  • Wonderful! Thank you!!! As a discerning young woman - its great to hear this from a sister. Its a message that I've been trying to share with others on my channel - which is entirely Catholic- G-d Bless!

  • Surely Nuns could do more in the community. I'm sure a lot of them are unsung heroines but we never get to read about it in the newspapers. Those red-top tabloids are, of course, aimed at people of very, very low intelligence and all they want to read is rubbish about someone's private life. They have no interest in anything that might challenge them intellectually. So, Nuns, carry on your good work. And why hide behind plain clothes? Let them see who you really are. You have nothing to hide.

  • I must apologize if I was in error as that is a pretty serious charge. I received some information at a march for life several years ago and did some research and at that time that was the information I gleened. If that has never been the case again, I do humbly apologize.

  • I don't want to be negative but I think it important that folks realize this is a group that does accept the authority of any Pope since the Second Vatican Council. They are in actuality outside of the Church.

  • @salmcdeck funny you should say that - not sure were you read or heard this but we actually do accept the authority of our Holy Father Benedict XVI and we are recognized by our local ordinary Bishop Robert McManus of Worcester MA. If you don't mind sharing with us were this misinformation comes from that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for watching and God bless you.

  • @StBenedictCenter I believe he had you confused with another community.

  • I don't like the name of this religious community I must admit. Mary is definitely the Mother of God who intercedes for us but we are not to be slaves of Mary but of Jesus. Mary points us to Christ, her Son.

  • @fkanga By being Slaves of Mary we are following completely the example of Jesus Christ, who was subject to her. St. Louis de Montfort in his book "True Devotion to Mary" explains this voluntary slavery and how it is a contrast and remedy to the slavery of so many people to the things of this world .......... video games, drugs, alcohol, work, sports, pornography, anything that keeps us from belonging totally to Christ!

  • @StBenedictCenter I probably should read this book then. Thank you for responding and God Bless!!

  • @StBenedictCenter Hello, Sister. You mentioned addictions: "video games, drugs, alcohol, work, sports, pornography." Drugs and porn are serious ones, and I can understand how the others can be addictive or problematic if used irresponsibly or given too much importance, but the way they were listed looks like it may imply that you are equating drugs to sports, for instance, or porn to video games. Was that intentional or is this simply a list of things that people are known to find addictive?

  • @pflubber Thank you so much for watching. It was meant to be just a list of things that one can be addicted to, that can separate us from the Love of God.

  • @StBenedictCenter thank you for your prompt response, Sister. May God bless you in all you do.

  • @StBenedictCenter Gotta' question for you, Sisters!! If you wouldn't mind, would you discuss your thoughts regarding The Apparitions of Medjugorje?? I'm no longer a Catholic, but it is abundantly clear to me that these appearances of The Apparition were genuine. For some reason, as an institution, The Catholic Church has tried to distance itself from what has happened in Medjugorje. Why??

Peace & Blessings to all of you.

    Thanks!!

  • @StBenedictCenter Oh, BTW: I wasn't meaning to hijack the thread here; I erroneously posted my questions as a reply to your conversation with fkanga.

Sorry!!!! Give me a few minutes; I've gotta' go dig out my hair shirt!! ;o)

  • modesty, pride and lonelyness

  • i respect this religious life, but isnt it sad.

  • @pomuchelskopp no, the religious life is not sad at all. You can go and see their daily lives on discernment retreats. I visited sisters servants of Mary and it was the best day of my life.

  • <3 you sister! :D I'll help pray for vocations!!

  • Beautiful habit and beautiful woman wearing it.

  • You have found your true calling.

  • Where in the Bible is it written that praying the Rosary will achieve answered prayer?

  • The rosary it's self is from the bible. When MAry visited her cousin Elizabeth what did she say? she said " Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb." when the angel apeared to Mary what did he say " Hail MAry full of Grace the Lord is with you."

  • the prayers and nature of the rosary is in the bible. The hail Marys are from the words of Gabrel and Elizabeth, the Our father should be obvious. When we pray we medetate on stories from the Bible. Also, "Th prayers of a rigeous person are fruitfull indeed." Also, "I saw the prayers of the holy ones rising up like incense before the LORD."

  • @ mrsd81km: Where did the BIBLE come from? What gives the BIBLE any legitimacy or truth? What makes you so sure that the BIBLE is the word of God? Do you think the BIBLE is the true word of God b/c the BIBLE itself says so? That's circular reasoning. What makes the BIBLE anymore legit or truthful than other religious texts out there ...say the Quran? Why are there so many different versions of the BIBLE?

All of these questions lead to one answer, and one answer only.

  • @canhvanglangoc52 all these question you asked are answered by a book called the Case for christ.

  • @s3087662

Thanks! I suggest you read the works of GK Chesterton, Scott Hahn, Peter Kreeft, and especially the Catechism.

    Cheers!

  • @s3087662

Also another recommendation, you should read Introduction to Christianity by Joseph Ratzinger :D

  • pray to Mary? where is that written in the bible? do you even read the bible? the bible says there's ONE mediator between God and man- Jesus ( not Mary ) why do you pray to the dead? Mary is dead she can't help you. You believe the lies of the catholic church, not God's truth. If you're gonna go to hell go to hell on your own account, not for believing other people's lies. Read the bible for yourself. You'll be shocked how little the bible focuses on Mary and how much on Christ.

  • Consider the account of the wedding feast of canna: it was MARY who spoke to Jesus and asked him to help the waiters out.

  • nice white collar. PLease keep it starched and prim.

  • Is this a joke?

  • Not at all! ...... The only reality worth believing in.

  • Clergy abuse my foot.

More nonsense from haters of the Catholic Church. YAWN!

  • Comment removed

  • There is no hatred here towards the Church. With all due respect, nothing was made up. With all due respect, I and my husband are still friends with a very inspirational nun. Comments like yours are very difficult to understand and devoid of respect.

  • I agree that your accusations are devoid of respect. You must enjoy the negativity in all aspects of life for you.

Why not point out how lousy your husband has been in your life to say the least.

If you have nothing nice to say.....you know the rest.

I've encountered many haters in my life, people who have nothing but negative comments to say about our Church.

I expect comments like yours on Catholic forums because people hate our Church.

    Thanks for removing her comments.

  • My husband is not lousy. He is wonderful. You are angry. Not I.

  • No, sir, you are devoid of respect and you are angry. When you post these types of hateful comments, sir, you represent the RC Church in an incorrect light. What you don't know is that last year I sent a $600 donation to a Catholic charity that is run by a very inspiration Sister, and that my husband's aunt was a Sister. You spout off hate without knowing specifics and perhaps you should print this all out and go talk to a priest about your hateful responses.

  • Interesting, you bad mouth the Church and then you send money to a Catholic charity??

Is the money you send out of guilt or out of piety.

Your intentions are confusing, but so are many protestants.

It isn't anger sister, it is defense of my Church against those who slander her. Your guilt trip will not work.

  • If there was indeed clergy abuse, one, I'm sorry for you. Two: it is because the liberals who have taken over the church years ago, giving us this new crap in the church, taking apart the church and so on, many priests and nuns are not real christians, I would say. they don't fully understand or believe in the church. The bishops of the US are scandalous, look at them giving money to pro abortion sects. Recently that was in the news. These nuns on the video, are REAL nuns, who love God.

  • Thank you Johnny. Yes, it really happened. When you speak of good nuns, my husband's aunt was a wonderful cloistered sister who loved God and lived her live for Him with the focus of prayer. She is now in heaven with Him.

We survivors long for reconciliation but we receive the silent treatment and comments like 1 ton tomato posted, that we made it up. Nothing was made up here. I am in a 12 step program to overcome the abuse, just started it.

  • Yes I can understand that. I am so glad the scandal broke out. When the Mass was in the traditional form, EVERYWHERE, never had anything like this happened. Like I said, I believe it fell apart when the church in the United States became too liberal in practice, and not enough priests believed in the real presence of Christ at the alter, leading to such actions. Our lady of Akita also warned Satan would enter the Church, and we see that through those priests. God bless, my sister, and peace

  • ps I agree with you. the RC Church needs more genuine, real nuns and also the RC Church needs people who will share their faith instead of anger. I am not angry. I am saddened.

  • Thank you for your response and I do agree that the traditional way is the better way. A lot of the beauty of what the RC Church was was lost with Vatican II

  • we need more real nuns like this!

  • Thank You sister! Its amazing to hear that! I just loved vocation weekend this year, and the past years.

    God Bless

  • Thank You so much, you do not know to what extent people liked you can change lives.

  • god bless you sister

  • Dear Sister, thanks a lot for your words!!

  • Wonderful! God bless you, Sister!

  • Great habit!

  • Beautiful thank you Sister.

    God bless.

     Annie

  • wow.. i find it hard to pray though, how much more the rosary.. how can i think of a vocation if i pray so poorly... Priests and religious sisters are really great! Thank God they are here in this miserable world! Thank God always..

  • St Therese of Lisieux found it hard to pray the rosary. I think Saint Teresa of the Andes found it hard to pray also. But like St Therese said, it is the intention that counts, even if you try and they prayers are not as good as you want them to be, if you are trying and intending to try that counts in God's eyes a lot!

  • What a dear and beautiful sister!

  • Amen! I was in tears afterwards because her story is so beautiful. Thanks for sharing and posting!
