@Thealbinos My friend, every war has its spoils, even today (e.g. treatment of POWs in Iraq by the coalition forces etc). In any case you can't compare Alexandros the Great to the Nazis. He treated his captives with some respect and honour (e.g. the royal burial he ordered for his great enemy Daruis III and the treatment he gave Darius's family). He was a great creator who built not only a great empire but great cities and a legendery name & not just a conqueror. I don't think Nazis did that.

@Barboutzis Actualy Germans treat some POWS and captives with respect French Americans British etc compare to the Soviets their camps were like Summer Camps! Also not all Germans were brutal. All sides were brutal in WWII but sometimes mercy was show see the Laconia Incident as an example. Where Germans acted honorbly and Allies did not.

@Barboutzis There is one small problem.Alexander the Great(O Megas Alexandros) was a man who did huge slaughters and destroyed many cities,killing thousands of people.But,of course that is war.He might not be compared to the Nazis of course,but we can't really say he was such a good man.(In spite of that he was an outstanding General and a Great King)
