@22catherineissexy22 The box is actually filled with water and by dipping the lip of the bell in, the pitch is lowered. The idea comes from a percussion technique called a water gong in which a gong is struck and lowered into water, effecting the pitch. It will work with any metal such as a gong, cymbal, crotales, and in this case handbells!!
@hutley13 Not as of right now, I do not have anything available. I am however working working on getting a few original pieces for full choir published.
@hatorigirl1202 Not the way I played it, it couldn't be done live by a quartet, with some rearranging, it could be though, I just didn't focus on that because I knew I'd be recording it in multiple takes.
Dude I would love to hear more!!!

Thanks for sharing. That's a lot of work you put into this video! How many separate tracks did you have to use for this recording?
OrganistAnthony 3 months ago
@OrganistAnthony There are four separate tracks, mostly malleted bass, chords, and two melody/counter-melody lines.

What was the technique called when you lowered the bells into that plastic box?

I'm assuming this could not be played live as is like by a choir without duplicate bells? Still amazing. Well done.
