the big problem is trying to grow a garden these days, nothing wants to grow because of whats being sprayed in the air every day,its destroying the soil. these people are sick !!!!!! they create problems to solve them.

If they wiped put mosquitoes it probably ruin the earth. The mosquitoes feedf fish and birds. The earth would be better without humans, but we got to live with the mosquitoes and bugs. We can exterminate everything.

Strange that they would genetically modify papayas. Why spend so much money and effort on a fruit that is rarely consumed by the average person. Papayas are far from being a staple of Western civilization, so why would they modify it when there's barely a market for them. There must be something behind this.

I've to say that those GMOs scare the absolute crap out of me. It's so completely unnatural, it's been proven to cause cancer in testmice, it's proven to not be as effective as normal crops and you actually need alot more pesticides and crap like that.

Imo, GMOs need to be stopped at all costs.. with violence if nessecary.

If rock dusts are used in place of GMO and agrochemicals, food productivity and quality will be boosted massively; soil will be totally remineralized and stopped from blowing away or running off into rivers and estuaries where toxic chemicals in the soil currently poison all life to death in them. Food would once again be totally nutritious for all in the whole world, utterly destroying any arguments that the governments and Monsanto and DuPont have for using what is only a lethal weapon on us.

They obviously cannot seriously expect anyone to believe that this GMO technology is needed to feed the planet, as we have enough now, and destroy an absolutely huge proportion of all food already produced in order to artificially maintain prices. Killing 50% or more of all fish and then throwing them away under the EEU CAP and CFP is like killing all the American buffalo. Kissinger wants at least 50% of people dead, and we definitely have enough food producing ability to feed those left..

I disagree that they didn't know what the harmful results of GMO would be, because if they didn't, if they had not intended it, and then saw it, they would stop it, also they know now and are still making more GMO's. They knew alright and intended it. See my essay at 'Mothman777's Blog'

If the Corporations think GMO Is No Threat then let them be the guinea pigs over a number of years so we can see the end result but in the mean time We don`t want the trash the earth provided what is good for us & that`s the way we like it Thank You

@Keemm89 Plants engineered to withstand being sprayed with powerful herbicides (won't die) while all other non-targeted crops die off. Plus some varieties of GMOs have pesticide engineered into each cell. This saves the farmer from having to spray insecticide. The damned part of this is that the pesticide is in the plant and can't be washed off. The United States doesn't have any labeling requirements for GMOs so families have been eating pesticide-filled corn, soy, canola and other foods.

@Keemm89 I have a suggestion: STOP buying anything and everything that could possibly contain GMO ingredients. Grow your own food if you possibly can. I'm growing mine in pots in a sun room. Write to every food producer you can find and TELL them you refuse to purchase anything containing any ingredients that could POSSIBLY be GMO. Educate everyone you know to do the same. Vote with your wallet. Corporate Amerika only responds to the only pain they can feel....reduced sales.

@NoirAngelique I agree but our sell out government(u.s) has said that GM foods are not required to tell you that they are GM foods. The sad fact is that WE DO NOT HAVE THE CHOICE. It would be far to costly for all the folks who produce "clean" foods to re-label all there products, "GM FREE".

@Meatpieandtatters Not everybody has been eating those foods. I refuse to consume anything I think even MIGHT be GMO. And if EVERYBODY STOPPED eating those foods, there would be no market for them, would there? The only vote that REALLY counts in America is the one you do with your wallet.
