Actually, the Mecha Dragon was weak to the Atomic Fire and the Quick Boomerang in the NES version.

Don't get me wrong. I like Mega Man 2, but it's my least favorite of the NES games. I thought Mega Man 3 was a much better game (it's also my most favorite of the NES Mega Mans).

metal blade can shoot in any direction and it seems it kills enemies a little faster than the quick boomerang also it doesn't turn megaman pink

Meh. Dr. Wily 1 & 2 were really awesome songs but, it's just TOO popular.

I'm not saying it's bad because, well, it's awesome yeah, but it's way more popular than it should be. I mean, look at other awesome Megaman songs like the opening stage for MM7, and Snake man's stage theme. They're pretty good too.

not to mention,metalsmans song is slow as heck compared to its original nes counterpart :( apart from that....dont you think gemini man's song is better here? it was slightly random in the nes,its mysterious here in TWW...and its a cafe song in the power fighters... dang...i wish someone would give megaman 1-3 a HD remake...i just would enjoy the fluid animation for metalman especially....its never gonna happen,though....megaman forever....spiked pits,NO!!

You shouldn't be so scared off by theheatman block puzzle man.It's easier than it seems. There are just about 2 tricky blocks to it. The rest are pretty straight forward.

Small note - crashman's weapon can break through woodman's leaf shield and does pretty good damage.

I think Quick Boomerang doesn't get as much praise as much Metal Blades because it doesn't go very far. Metal Blade goes all the way to the end of the screen.

Even though Mega Man 2 is my favorite of the series, to each their own. Hey, people give me crap for not liking Silent Hill 2, and loving Silent Hill 3.

Just because you dislike the most popular game in the series doesn't make your opinion any more or less valid than, say, my opinion about Silent Hill.

I can understand why Heat Man's good point doesn't make much sense to you.  The thing is, Heat Man is bascially a living match. and therefore, his good point is that his fire is living.

It's not that Mecha Dragon has more energy, it's just that he has longer damage immunity after being hit, like all bosses in this version.

In the original, you can kill him in a few seconds with Quick Boomerang spam; now, you can't spam due to his immunity, and partially because of a decrease in firing rate.

I have the cellphone version for MM2 as well as wily wars and orignal and god damn playing MM2 on your cell phone is impossible!!!. And the dragon is 2 times bigger as well so it really pisses me off.

Metal Blade can be shot in all  8 directions, that's why I always used it. That alone makes it the best weapon.
