depends what ur looking 4 street fighter 4 is more cartoonish while soulcaliber 4 looks real even those its not id pick sf 4 just because i like games like that and DBZ but apparently the guy above us likes SC

SC4 has customization (but it gets lame)

SF4 has some incredible combos (but 2d gets boring)

neither is better or worse, they are ENTIRELY different

Honestly it depends on what your tastes are. Soul Caliber 4 gives you the realistic weapons battle (without the gore of mortal combat) while SF4 gives you the art behind fighting games (as demonstrated in Street Fighter 3rd strike) while being somewhat unrealistic (ie. height of jumps, and energy attacks). Me i would pick SF4 because capcom, unlike unlike other fighting games, has refined street fighter to the level where it has become the epitome of what some fighter strive to be.
