I have a question regarding the fill valve. If you have to replace a fill valve with the ball. Does the replacement valve also have to have the ball? Or can you replace it with the fill valve with a float cup?

I can cost money to hire a plumber to fix the toilet. With my toilet. Basically the flush valve was having issues. I replace the flush valve. The bolt gaskets were worn and water was leaking from the tank. I replace those gaskets and find out when I flush the toilet it leaks from under the tank. So it looks like the shank washer needs replaced. And I have bought the replacements parts from Home Depot and that Shank washer. It will also be from Home Depot. Hopefully that will be it.

shouldn't you just get a plumber? Yes, some u may save, but looking at the things that MIGHT go wrong and changing that part, wouldn't u waste more by buying new things for everything when it's just another problem?

If you have a home with a toilet, you'll sooner or later have an issue with a toilet that needs to be repaired...and most toilet-related issues are relatively easy for the educated "do it yourselfer". Good video!

If you toilet is constantly clogged buying a new toilet won't help. You need to remove the toilet and check the trap in the toilet for obstuctions and then check the drain for obstructions. Not buy a new toilet.
