How is it ready for Blu-Ray? The resolution is only 1366 x 768. That is crap and certianly cant display 1080p content unless your using an external monitor. They always say stuff to convince you to believe its such a great laptop.

720p is HD, you only need 1080p on a large screen, 720p on a small screen looks just as good as 1080p on a large screen, detail wise.

I woulnt say that unless you know what your talking about. If its a 16" Screen on there it doesnt need to be 1080p. HDTV's have 1080p because the quality wouldnt be as good because its so big, so tecknicly the quality of a 16" monitor with 20P is better thn a 40" With 1080p, Because the Pixels are smaller.

usually u sit about 2-3 feet away from a laptop display, so high res is needed at close range, else it wont look good
