I am taking a Women in Literature class and we read "Sweat". I loved the style of writing and am learning everything I can about Zora. Born and raised in South Carolina she makes me think of my homes history both good and bad. Thank you for posting this video and giving me further understanding on this great woman!

The song is actually the intro (looped) to Loreen McKennitt's "The Highwayman." Even though the song has Celtic undertones, I thought it sounded like the old South as well. :)
