true, a new monkey island would be more exciting. this is still amazing and a cant wait to play it, its coming out the end of this week... but what would be the most exciting is if someone re-made the first 2 monkey island games in a nice 2D way :D
Lucasarts went to shit years ago. I doubt whether a new MI game would really be worth the wait. Grim Fandango was only moderately replayable, and the all-3D move for MI4 was horrible.
We need a little bit of Ash-2-Life to bring the genre back from the dead, then maybe good games (like this one, hopefully) will follow.
I really enjoyed this game. I hope the sequel will have a map to make travel between locations easier though.
