I like mine. My only complaint is that it seems to use battery power even when it's off. I have several and they're all the same. I don't use them often and the battery is usually dead. I just remove the battery after use now. They really are a bargain.
@4sineweaver2 you are absolutely right. Mine starts to flash after maybe 2 weeks and flashes for what seems like 2 months and then just goes dead. Take the battery out when your done and it works forever.

It is a great deal. A friend at work has one made by central tools. A very trustworthy brand. We checked various things while bored and it came out only .001 off on a brake rotor out of the box new. We measured probably 7-8 things randomly and it always gave the same number as the Central Tools one.
15 bucks on sale, 30 new. Great deal to have. I think i may get a second for the home.
well, it's not a Starrett, but for $14.99 I guess you can't go wrong.... until you go wrong that is.

I like your videos, but you really need a tripod. You can get one for about $20 bucks on eBay.
