  • Very helpful! Thank you. C:

  • Actually, you don't need to make a new brush to make it bigger. You can just scale it up.

  • "and this pepper... i still haven't found use for this pepper."

    :D

  • I like this video - clear and precise - Thank you very much

  • Great stuff!

  • great lesson. I lost the sliding scale that would change the size of any brush--any idea how to locate this? thanks

  • Your videos are SO helpful thanks SO much!!!

  • It's been possible to scale brushes since version 2.4.

  • can u tell me why when I download SOME gimp brushes,... they are TOO huge.. like eye shadows or hair textures... They are wayyyy bigger then any pic I could use. Not all brushed load like that.. just ones like that.. maybe some boarder brushes.. is there a way to fix that?

  • can i change the agle of the brush? and how

  • Kinda helpsz, but not really becuze, it only lets me resize the circle brush...

  • is there any way i can make my own brsuh out of anyshape like an image i draw can i save it as a brush? i tried once and saves it as a gimp brush then i closed reopened gimp and i dont see it in the brush tool box help me please

  • do u know how to make the spark brush like the yellow one free when u start it?

  • lol, you're right about the pepper. i have gimp, and when i first started with it, i was like, what the hell is a bell pepper doing in my brushes section? random on a massive scale.

thanks for the tutorials, btw, i kinda needed them lol

  • thank you. very helpful.

  • thank you so much!!

  • hay if all you want to change is the size of it you can use the [][[ keys to change them

  • The Dynamic brush is used with my wheel mouse. Oh and the Pepper and Vines and Spark brush can be used for FX. Try this with a small canvass at first to see what you think, but fill a layer with any one of those brushes. Hide that layer and use it as a source for a bump map or a displacement map.

Thanks for the Tutorials! Looking forward for more.

  • Looks like you are using gimp 2.4 if so, use the square brackets to size the brushes. That said, I too have made a Dynamic brush that I can change the size and hardness of on the fly.

  • I made this tutorial 3 months ago...I practically only ever use square brackets myself now!

  • your voice is so soothing.

  • i agree
