What happens when you "fold" it and get parked in tight?... you have to lower it to get in. you have to get in to turn wheels sideways and get out of the spot. but there's no way to lower it if you're parked in.
Wait wait, I see one problem: How will fat north Americans fit? 32% are obese and 30% are overweight... that's more than half the population. I don't think they will like this idea ;P
The problem lies within America guys, America has to many natural recourses that harm the environment, like coal and oil, America will never stop until the last drop or stone, Europe and Asia will have to be the lead in innovation in green vehicles and buildings etc.
so what happens if you have car seats or luggage in the car? everytime u park, u need to take everything out and carry it around until ur ready to drive again and then u have to pack everything up into the next car again. it's gonna be a huge hassel
I wonder when all human ingenuity and knowledge will be dedicated to getting the world off the grid. We are buried underneath a deluge of 'inventions' none of which free us from the burden to pay the oil, electricity and gas suppliers.
i agree this idea...we need something new,,new evolution of transportation vehicle...we need not to stick on old fashion gasoline vehicle that causes the pollution and climate change,,,if we continue to use diesel fuel vehicle soon we all gonna die
"a shared concept"? "sweep your ID card and just take the first one off the stack"? hell no, what if u make a stop, u leave ur stuff in the car, and some random idiot just comes and takes the vehicle with everything in it? Groceries, for example
@haobio Hi, I live in Europe and haven't seen this kind of stuff. Could you refer to some already examples? It would be nice to see similar solutions.
Great idea :-) - Now add to the car over unity or Nikola Tesla style (Pierce Arrow prototyped by Westinghouse) electrical system & boom - No More offshore drilling risks needed.

First time I stepped into a car that some loser had thrown-up in, I'd cancel my subscription in the program. Private ownership IS the way to go.

Hello!? The solution is already here: just look at what the Europeans and Japanese do. Extensive Public Transportation.

@haobio Sure, but for buses to go everywhere people want
they have to be empty much of the time but still traveling a
route. If we could dispatch buses or big taxi's to take a bunch
of people who wanted a certain customized route, using software
to smart it up, that might work, but still, if you have a bunch of
little tiny electric vehicles, that's about as good, energy-wise, and
possibly more effective than everybody waiting for the person
getting on or off to get it together.
