With the right song (and an original catchy one) she could have been truly GREAT and gone GLOBAL. But the quality of the writing (even for Metal) is substandard. Shame ......

What's amazing about them is that they used purely classical elements to emphasize the authentic goth metal moments. Geeky as it may sound, I'm amazed how well is Vibeke Stene in control of classical singing techniques amidst bearded, long-hair, black weather wearing men with loud instruments. Tristania was one of the kind. Legendary. Just legendary.
