I recently got the same kit, and the texture of my reconstructor is very goopy and not a solid creme type substance like the intense hydrator. Is that normal? My hair is pretty damaged, so the first time I used all 3 products, waited 4 days and then only used the shampoo and intense hydrator. My hair looks worse... maybe i didnt rinse well enough? Is the product old? Do i really just not need it that much/am i overusing it? Help! D:
@MyFriendLithium my reconstructor was a bit goopy as well. I've learned a lot about haircare since this video and the best thing I can recommend is to use shampoo and conditioner that has a proper low Ph of 4.5 to 5.5 and doesn't contain sulfates or silicones. SOMA hair technology and ProRituals both have a great line of products if you are able to find either of them online or in a salon near you.
I'm using the shampoo and conditioner, but it makes my hair really dry and frizzy after. Idk if I have to keep using it for more than a week to get full benefits, but I read online because the ph is so low it might do that... Please help :(
I attend a school that uses the entire Joico line. I loved them at first but, after buying the daily shampoo and conditioner and the K-PAK I found some problems. I was using this product for about 2 months I did notice my scalp was itchy so I started to shampoo my scalp twice and then condition. This worked for a while. Then my scalp was irritated again so I went back to once. It continued to get worse and worse flakier and dry, although my hair felt good. THIS PRODUCT CONTAINS COCAMIDE DEA! BAD
@PynkCamp Thank you for the information, I never had any issues with it causing my head to itch. I haven't used it in awhile though since I got the moroccan oil reconstructing hair mask.
Got this tonight, you inspired me! It is awesome my hair was SOOO soft and healthy looking after it dried. What are the Joico hairsprays..mouse..and all that like? Good too? Mouse usually makes my hair stuff so wondered if Joicos did too and if you had tried it yet. Thanks hun sorry for all the questions.
@ChandlerandMonica83 Sorry I have been MIA, I haven't tried any of the other joico products. I usually get a cheap hairspray like tresemme, but I don't use much styling product in my hair anyways other than a little bit of moroccan oil before i blow dry and a shine serum after I flat iron.
