  • No days r better 4 good deeds than the 10 of zulhega month ,no deeds r better on this feast than sacrificing an animal as the blood lies in a place with allah before its lying on earth and the sacrificed animal defends u on judgement day and those who can afford 2 sacrifice but dont do should die nonmuslim,,if u slaughter,do it well (without torture),Fasting Arafat Day covers sins of past and next year as in hadiths

why do you say to fast arafah since the prophet never fasted on that day?

  • wa alaikum assalam

Yes, the prophet (SAW) didn't fast when he was performing Hajj.

If you meant the prophet (SAW) never fasted period, then maybe you're referring to the narration of Aisha (RA) that the prophet (SAW) never fasted on these 10 days. But, there is another narration said that the prophet (SAW) did fast on the 9th.

So according to Islamic Fiqh, the narration that has more information takes precedence over the one lacks information (denies the occurrence of fasting)

  • Further more, the prophet (SAW) told us the rewards of fasting Arafa, which is forgiveness of two years sins.

I pasted more narrations in the video's description.

  • Mashallah, good stuff, keep it up!

  • Thanks, wa iyykakum

  • MashaAllah, very informative! Jazakh Allahu khair for sharing!!

  • Ask your local masjid for the date of Eid.

Here are the Hajj dates for Islamic calendar year 1429 (2008). If you follow Saudi Arabia Hajj dates, then Saturday November 29, 2008 corresponds to the 1st of Thul-Hijjah 1429. Arafa will be on Sunday December 7, and Eid-al-Adha will be on Monday December 8. The last day of Qurban and Tabkeer will be Thursday December 11.

  • mashallah thankyou for this good clip because as a new convert i did not even know there was these extra dates so thankyou soo much may allah bless you ameen
