In almost all the traps there are ways to escape alive. Without having to hurt yourself at all.

Its just that the people in the traps are really stupid and end up killing everyone and themselves.

@Inferfire well not the angel trap or the meat hooks ones because the hooks were in her ribcage so it wud kill you to take them out and one of the meat hooks is in troys jaw which is impossible to take off without killing you

He never needed to rip it out his jaw.

He just needed to stop the bomb in time before it killed him.

He could have removed the nails in the pipe bomb in the room by breaking the glass that they were in. There would be a giant explosion, but no shrapnel, so he would be safe. Then the cops would come in and remove his jaw hook.

For the angel trap the girl could have easily used the acid solution to destroy the angel trap.

The first thing i thought of when seeing the movie for the FIRST TIME is: get rid of the bomb and you'll survive.

Because thats the only thing that was going to kill him. That was his trap.

If you read the Saw Website, then it actually tells you that the Angel Trap, and the Classroom Trap were then "later discovered to be inescapeable"....

There are ways to escape all the traps without hurting yourself or anyone else.

In saw 6 agent strahm escaped from an "inescapable" trap. All the traps can be overcome if you are smart enough.

The Door to the Classroom Trap was sealed shut by the way.. So even through escape, that person would have found it hard to escape.

And The Pendulum was a revenge trap, there was NO way out...

I think he did what he had to do but it was too late because if you notice the neck holders open right after he dies so he was a tad bit too late thats all they had a delayed time to open up but they did just too late tho. just sayin it is escapable

Actually, he did do what he needed to do even before the pendulum hit him. The person who built the trap was not John, who makes all his traps escapable, but was detective Hoffman who was seeking revenge against that guy for killing his sister. He made the trap unescapable.
