The Gee Bee shown in this graphic looks like it bears the markings of the racer flown by Jimmy Doolittle of "30 Seconds Over Tokyo" fame. Does anybody know, outside of museum-quality types, if there are any flight-capable examples in existance (original- not replicas like those in the movie "The Rocketeer"? Thanx.

The R1 was actually one of the Super Sportster models, not a Senior Sportster. And it was built for the 1932 Thompson trophy race.
