In some areas (probably Florida mostly) people are encouraged to keep a device in the car that can cut through a seatbelt like butter then has a trigger mechanism that breaks a car window just in case they plunge into a river.
Kepp your feet dry, sugar! I grew up in Fort Worth and know how it can get around there. I never was a huge fan of driving over bridges, either. Always makes me nervous. I got a kick out of seeing the Grand Prairie sign. I had to hitchhike home from there once when I was a teenager. Long story, but the moral was "never trust your friend's brother's friends." Know what I'm sayin? Lol. Hope you don't get any of those ice storms. Stay safe. Hugs :-)
