@Darkbloodywinds They have Agnator now... witch is basically a giant lava (literally lava) wyvern. When its skin is super hot you basic green sharpness weapon can cut it. But when it cools your sharpness has to be like white to cut it at all. Not only that is basically has the Shoop Da whoop lazor and it shoots it two different ways. Not to mention it can swim through the ground and even inot the ceiling in one of the rooms. The hotter its skin is the the more fire dmg you take. And its fast.

its kinda like wow in that you have levels and as you progress threw your quests for your level you will get an urgent quest and when you complete this quest you will level up and have access to the next level of quests
@Ahrensiop no, there's no lvling, you just create new and better weapons and armor with new materials u get through killing monsters. then for the multi, you go to a mission board, and you either join somone's mission or create ur own, and then the team leader sends u all into the mission and you complete ur objective. i love this game so much. i have all the monster hunter's for the psp, cant wait to get this

Well if you buy the game when it comes out, it will obviously be in full english.
But if you pirate it, there are 2 versions you can play: full japanese or partial english patched.
The partial english patched version has everything you need in order to simply play the agme translated into english: item names, armor names, armor skills, weapon names, quest objectives, and possibly more.
But if you really just want to try this game out, go to Gamestop and pick up a free US Demo.

I was expecting a new system of controls for this game but I think it was all throughout the same with that of the PSP, it only has better graphics and the player can swim and stuff... still a great game though, it solved alot of boring moments in my life.

no. actually u kill monsters to create armor and weapons. kill stronger ones for better weapons and u may kill a boss on your own unless its hard...get a party then xD

its kinda like wow in that you have levels and as you progress threw your quests for your level you will get an urgent quest and when you complete this quest you will level up and have access to the next level of quests

@Ahrensiop no, there's no lvling, you just create new and better weapons and armor with new materials u get through killing monsters. then for the multi, you go to a mission board, and you either join somone's mission or create ur own, and then the team leader sends u all into the mission and you complete ur objective. i love this game so much. i have all the monster hunter's for the psp, cant wait to get this

Well if you buy the game when it comes out, it will obviously be in full english.
But if you pirate it, there are 2 versions you can play: full japanese or partial english patched.
The partial english patched version has everything you need in order to simply play the agme translated into english: item names, armor names, armor skills, weapon names, quest objectives, and possibly more.
But if you really just want to try this game out, go to Gamestop and pick up a free US Demo.

Same here--I'm just gonna buy the Wii first, then wait for the PS3 to lower the price down to $250 or $200 to make sure it's affordable for me with some games and accessories! Yeah, same, but I think that the fact that you can connect to any player in the whole nation from your home makes up for the lack of classic monsters like Yian Kut Ku.
I just love the idea of not having to go to a friends house to connect and play via Ad Hoc mode like I did on the PSP, haha.

Always try to get different species to fight each other to save tiMe and life while having one long range and a short range people have a heavy long ranged person so that you can hide and shoot while the close ranger/rangers defend you or draw away the Monster so that it does not kill the long ranged heavy people/person.

I was expecting a new system of controls for this game but I think it was all throughout the same with that of the PSP, it only has better graphics and the player can swim and stuff... still a great game though, it solved alot of boring moments in my life.

I kinda get it now, The first game was during the Harvest/ Spring season. The 2nd game/ Monster Hunter 2 G is in the Winter, and the third game is the rainy season, hence the water. Never noticed what they were doing until i saw this...Pretty kickass concept...They're building a solid foundation of future games to come...
