actually the "stop in turn 3" was indeed for dario. the irl officials wanted him to stop there so they could get out the truck with the podium and all the stuff for the celebrations. the set that up right at start/finish and then had him roll in there from turn 3 so they could celebrate him properly. they would've done the same with dixi.

I'm a huge fan of conspiracy theories but this definately isn't one.
