@eh4891 Shelbys used that same engine, just modified for performance or with a turbo added depending on model and year.

Man, I'll bet that 360 he did had to be scary as hell seeing how he was kinda heading for those rocks on the edge of the course.

Yeah, that was me and I was going about 75mph at the beginning of that spin. I was thinking, "Oh man, I hope I don't go across the bridge backwards! Oh man, I hope I don't hit those rocks!" I had a lot of time to think about it. I was kind of along for the ride...

The RX-7 footage is Rod Millen driving from about 1980 or so. It's from a promotional video for Rallyweek Northwest/Olympus Rally back in the 1980's.
