As a parent who adopted last year from Vietnam I am deeply saddened by women who have to give up her child because of poverty. (and my daughter is the greatest gift in my life), however it is too much to ask anyone. I wish the Vietnamese government would provide birth control pills and run social education programs to dissuade families from having more children they can't afford.

As a pro-life activist, I welcome married people to push out their babies, however fast\many they come. But I also see it as profound progress for the growing human race, to welcome the number of fertile birth canals pushing out babies, to also rise naturally.

Not sure which basic services you refer to? I am against Big Brother gov, against much gov spending. But dependable trash pickup, infrastructure for populous many, is good

Gov is supposed to "level the playing field," by enforcing some basic rules, making sure people and companies compete fair, but gov is not supposed to pick winners and losers, nor bail anybody out. That should be the job of for-profit businesses, volunteers, and charities.
Taxpayers should not pay for perks for criminal elites, and we should build stuff for populous many. I like example of communal showers. Efficient for large groups, move along, get done, without being pushed.

I mean communal showers in the gym, school, fitness club, or public swimming pool. Private shower stalls allow inappropriate behavior, are inefficient, and too much walls-work for janitors to keep clean. If people want all that luxury, they can stay home, or choose to pay the higher dues at some fancy fitness facility.
Communal, or common, shower rooms, because pop is high, and we need to move people along and keep costs down. Example of accommodating, not complaining of high pop

America used to be more positive about welcoming natural increase, family size was thought "uncontrollable." No thanks to secular propaganda "education," we Americans have forgotten our values, and are more close-minded than before. People weren't so uptight, and stuff was built to accommodate pop, now it's more gap between rich and poor, perks for elites, and who cares about the poor? Poor don't need gov handouts to buy off votes and make them dependent upon gov, they need JOBS.

If babies are the future, then what could possibly be wrong with having a populous future? A world abundant in human life, is a bit like having "too much" money in the bank. Why is that a "problem" to be "solved," other than finding a better, more secure place, to store our wealth and investments?
Seems to be, that a world "overflowing" with human life, should have MORE opportunities, not less. Pop expansion is a potent measure of "progress," not trouble, for growing human race.

Another failing of "handing out birth control," is that poor people often won't use it. Why? Because quite many of them, want children, and are fine with having "traditionally very large" families. The "family planning" pushers, practice a false, anti-family, anti-human religion of "environment" worship and paganism, therefore refusing to acknowledge the real needs of poor people. How about tuition money for many children to attend school? Good jobs provide that, not condoms.

As a parent who adopted last year from Vietnam I am deeply saddened by women who have to give up her child because of poverty. (and my daughter is the greatest gift in my life), however it is too much to ask anyone. I wish the Vietnamese government would provide birth control pills and run social education programs to dissuade families from having more children they can't afford.

rather than force birth control on them, having babies is a natural thing, it is not about affording them,
someone can always help out, don't start handing out birth control and impeding the natural flow of life.

The video dispels the myth that their are so many orphans who need adoption. It shows that there are mothers who need help so that they can raise their own children. Children needing help so they don't lose their family, culture and identity.

I don't know the address of Tam Binh, but there are many orpanages throughout Vietnam. You can go to hoianfoundation dot org to donate to that orphanage. You can also donate to Unicef at unicef dot org. They support programs in Vietnam and other countries. Tis the season of giving.

It said the gap between rich and poor in the country is widening, so perhaps it has to do with some domestic issues, and hte fast that is is the year of the golden fire pig, which is auspicious and happens only once every 600 years. I dont see how the hand of Zionism dips into this cookie jar.

I agree. Instead of exploiting the poverty of these distressed mothers why not support them to keep their children. Mothers put in this position because of the war, all the more reason for the wealthy countries that created this horrific situation to assist rather than further exploit Vietnamese families.

So what have you done lately to help support the families? Nothing would be my guess. The war didn't put the mothers in this positon. It ended 33 years ago. It's the communist government that has created this "horrific" situation, just like in so many other countries.
