Saw Bruce and the E Street Band in Connecticut and they were great, but it looks like Jersey is THE place to see them (which should have been obvious to me). Someday, I'll make sure I see them at Giants Stadium. In regard to Bruce, I have to admit that Jersey rules.

You're damn right. Having a big artist perform your song is what leads to a good payday after years of struggling. Steve Goodman was starving until Arlo Guthrie recorded his "city of New Orleans." Billy Preston, a fine artist, made a killing when Joe Cocker and to a lesser extent, Dennis Wilson, recorded "you are so beautiful." Even Bruce and Patti Smith had a good payday when 10,000 maniacs recorded "Because the Night."
