What a stupid thing to say! She is the sort of person who publicly slags a team mate for crashing in a speed event (she also broke a bone). In truth, you have no idea what sort of people either are, just what the media wants you to see. I'm sure they are actually both fine, but I would never imagine Vonn doing that to anybody.

Two girls competing at the top of the game in the same sport...yet, some people simply cannot enjoy all of the success; it has to be a contest between one or the other. The big question of course is why does it need to be one or the other?

Then again, she stripped down for a SI photoshoot before the games started so not sure how seriously we're supposed to take this person. She's definitely devouring all of the attention for the US team, not sure why.
I don't think mancuso was really mad at Vonn. I think she was more mad at the media and the way the team was reacting to the attention. Like, she was complaining it wasn't a good team atmosphere and the media took this and amplified it into a feud between the two girls. How Pathetic! Just to get a dumb story they're creating strife in the American Olympic team. Fuck Them!
Who do you think would win in a fight between Vonn and and Mancuso? I think it would be a great fight!
Vonn is 5'10 and about 170lbs... so she's quite a bit bigger and stronger than Mancuso - but keep in mind she has in injured hand at present, and Mancuso seems fiesty and angry - and would probably cheap shot and fight dirtier than Vonn.
I would say the odds in fight would be just about even if were to happen right after the Olympics - they could do it PPV and make a ton of money!
Most countries would commit murder to have any one of these two ladies competing for them. So I hope you Americans are proud of both these terrific champions.

I have skied with Julia Mancuso in high school and as a freshmen girl she was hands down the best skier in the league male or female. Curently Julia Mancuso is the best skier in the United States and the press is a bunch of ignorant idiots that focus 90% of there attention on Lindsay Vonn.
"sparkle" I love it! Both are wonderful competitors, both represent the USA and kick some butt doing it. If it comes down to personality...Julia but that's just a personal thing.
Just remember the nightrace in Schladming/AT two years ago where Mancuso finished the slalom skiing backwards, definitely one of the funniest moments......love you Julia!
