How is the probability 3/10 of getting a green one, if I know the one I am choosing is green? Why does probability only exist when I don't know which one I am going to pick?
That first one is a way of thinking about programming and computers in general.
Just thought I'd go back to my old school stuff haha, but I work in software and web development (programming a social networking site at the moment).
My point with this though, when I did my degree in Computer Science, its got to be completely exact, its either on or off either a 1 or a zero, thats all computers understand is binary, their very dumb machines.
I paid 1500 dollars to take a class of this in college, only to fail. I am soooo glad and wish I knew that there where helpful people here to expalain the very same 'expierments'. Thank you all so very much for posting this material.
just shut up you ignorant nitwit. please as much as you hate maths no matter what job you do maths will come into it somehow even if you do not use it.
as for probability it is easy once you understand it and is also needed in everyday life.
to whoever posted this and/or made it: thank you very much it has helped me greatly in my ongoing revision :)
Yet another silly "explanation" which confuses probability with frequency and portrays probabilities as if they were some magical property of things such as coins, cards, bags.
Lol..balls
