I would die to have that kind of home... I love the house, i love it interior and i love its surrounding. it's so relaxing. I won't mind living in the mountains, as long as i have wonderful house like this.. And one thing i love most is that the owner uses bamboo as the main material. bamboo are known to be eco-friendly.
@amaruz but, the one thing they didnt tell you and that is a brand new house. bamboo will rot and after it dries out you will be constantly repairing because like any wood gets brittle and breaks, Beautiful beyond words i agree. Oh also the revers effect if it gets to wet it will swell and leak. then after it it dries out again you will have gaps in the wall, roof, ect, ect. That is why everything is made out of cement, or rock in the tropic areas (if they can afford it).
How inspiring!

I really wanted to like the house, but I didn't. The exterior is appealing, but I couldn't get into the interior.

@taleeni I agree, there definitely needs to be more color contrast on the interior at the very least. It has quite allot of potential though.

started growing bamboo 5 years ago, here in south west Nebraska, lumber is so dang expensive, and I like to do crafts also.
also makes a nice burning product on a cool night.
