  • where can i fish in NJ with such calm waters ? is it depending on time and place ?

  • great video, great gear, great fishing, great time. Got to go there before I die. Thank you guys.

  • if I'm fishin chunks on snelled hooks with heavy mono snells would a blue bite through it and do blues eat clams?

  • I went topwater bluefishing fun as hell.

  • Where in Jersey was this filmed and what month looks like alot of fun to be wading for blues

  • these are really hard to real in they weigh like 3-15 pounds but they feel like 20 to 80 pounds when you try to bring them in

  • @surffishingvideos what kind of lures do you recomend to throw off a jetty in august.

  • what lure is that ?

  • 1:54 awesome

  • Nice job folks! I lika the topwata!

  • @tgl9000 what about the heddon zara puppy or super spook junior I already have those do u think they would be any good?

  • @Thelaxprofisherman Snapper blues are petty aggressive little brutes. Try what lures you've got and see if they work. Personally, I would throw a small Kastmaster.

  • @Thelaxprofisherman dont worry about what type of lure it is or what kind of action it has, if it moves blues will hit it.

  • Nice video! What time of year was this shot?

  • @surffishingvideos do u have a recommended lure for pier fishin snapper blues? Would a heddon zara puppy or super spook junior be any good?

  • @Thelaxprofisherman Small metal. Kastmaster.

  • @surffishingvideos how much do the biggest of those weigh? U have a reccomended lure for pier fishing snapper blues?

  • @surffishingvideos do blues bite through a heavy mono leader easily?? Any problem with treble hooks and unhookin them?

  • @Thelaxprofisherman Unhooking these blues on trebles is an absolute nightmare and downright dangerous. We only use single hooks with no barb. These fish go ballistic when you unhook them. Trebles are bad for the fish and bad for the fishermen. There is a very real chance that you can bury a hook in your hand with an angry 12lb bluefish attached (in waist to chest deep water). That is not a fun scenario.

Heavy mono works fine on big blues... just check it every few casts for wear.

  • @surffishingvideos You should try doing the same with circle hooks........ seriously it works give the fish some slack the second you the fins and THEN when the fish bites you pull. I love circle hooks... lolzorz

  • One of the best topwater vidoes that i have seen yet.

  • This is a great video I do the same thing in the bogs where I live. I use the heavy mono leader too but after a few nice attacks I change them and also had a few go rite through them but with top water nothing is better.

  • Ben esasinda kamisi cok merak ettim acaba hangi marka, cinsi, filan, cevap vermeye useniyor!!

  • Sevgili TULAY! bunlarin hepsi KOFANA dan ziyade SIRTIKARA olmuslar, NY un "KÖPEK BALIGI" baksana ne kadar TIRSIYOR millet!!!

Bizde bunlar olsaydi bir gece icinde aglarla cevrilmisti ve yok olmustu!! yok milletvekilin teknesi dokunulmazlara girerse bizde böyle oluruz, sevgilerimle

  • SUPERRRRRRRRRRRR ! info about rod!!!!

  • SUPERRRRRRRRRRRR !!!!!!!!!!!!

  • cool. bluefish will hit anything when they are like this. i bet you could throw a small show with a couple of hooks and you will get hits.

  • freaking astonishing!! Nice gotta love nj for this

  • FOR ME ITS THE BEST VIDEO I'VE EVER SEEN!! CRYSTAL CLEAR AND THE CAMERAMAN IS PROFESSIONAL!!!(YOU'RE NOT GONNA GET DIZZY!!) GOOD JOB GUYS!!!!!!!

  • a+ blue fishing! nice video.

  • da shit

  • Yellow eyed devils,

I wish I had them here in Turkey,

Americans should realize the great value of this wonderful national resource and not overfish them...

Nothing is a great a gator blue slamming a top water plug..

  • @awesomejohnnet - there used to be a population in the Black Sea - were you aware?

  • @brinefish

Yes I used to cath them all the time. Spectacular fish they were, strong, valiant , beautiful and extremely tasty... but you know how that goes.... their number are dwindling lower every year.. :(
