Wow! That's just AMAZING!

I also used to play Piano about 10 years ago. I took lessons for 3 years, which made me be able to play some pieces of Bach and Mozart.

But i was so bored of that classical stuff, that i quitted playing. Now, hearing these beautiful sounds, i'm about to bite my ass, that i didn't keep it going. But, regarding that i'm actually playing drums for 6 years now, and don't even have time for that in the moment, i won't start to re-learn playing piano again.Otherwise i'd do.

P.S....have you had many lessons or are you just a natural? I'm trying to find a teacher who can teach me to do what you do. i.e., arrange, improvise, embellish, etc. So far I can read music and play with feeling and have a good ear. But I want to do more!

Ok I ve been playing classical piano for 13 years .I'm pretty good ,not LANG-LANG fast or anything but a good all rounder.Anyways can someone shed some light on what exactly the left hand should dofor pop music arrangements?I mean is it all simple octaves and arpeggios relevent to the chords?I'm new to this arranging thing an even though I have a very good grasp of theory and would like to branch out into pop and jazz. ANY HELP PLEASE!

Just copy and copy and after a while youll get it, its not so hard. Just try and fool around and soon it'll be automatic. Without thinking and music you'll be able to sit down and just play. I started classical too and then had a hard time first with Jazz during my teens. Now I do both on various instruments and its enjoyable for whatever style you need. Just copy and listen lots. Hope that helps a bit. --> if you have to, then check books. "Mark Levine" will help probably a lot. Greetings

Hey, I pretty much just hook up the keyboard to my mac using a firewire audio interface (presonus inspire 1394), and then use garageband to record...

i have a roland rs-9, and i tried recording from it by taking the headphone out jack to the line in on my laptop... i recorded in a program but it only shows audio in the left channel. and actually even if i just record from the builtin microphone it still only shows audio from the left channel... i dont know whats going on.
