The music at the club scene sounds like someone recorded a saxophone being crushed under a truck wheel whilst having air pumped down the mouth piece then played the sound back on a sampler synthesizer.
@youtoubakias I think this TV series was the inspiration for Ninja Gaiden :) Think about it - cheesy acting, silly stories, all the quintessential elements - one of Lee Van Cleef's best works.
I had completely forgotten about his TV show! I remember watching it back in the mid 80's. I didn't know it had been cancelled back then, no wonder why I never watched more episodes.
@talon115 Lee Van Cleef could never fight. He had a severe back problem when this was filmed. He was only used for the star power.
Sho kosugi did all the fight/Ninja work for Lee Van Cleef and was his full-time stunt double wearing a skull cap. He also played the evil Ninja Okasa.
It's in Mill Creek's Martial Arts 50 Movie Pack Collection or in our Martial Arts 20 Movie Collection available with most on-line retailers that sell DVDs.

From 1984 - I laugh so hard at this show it brings me to tears ! Why do I laugh ? Becuase it is not even beliveable that Lee Van Cleef could hop around and flip and kick like that ! I thank Lee Van Cleef and Michael Sloan for making 13 of the funniest episodes of all time in my book ! I love this show for laughs, the fight scenes are hillarious ! On the Episode JUGGERNAUT Your suppose to believe Lee Van Cleef can FLIP UP onto the Top of a Tractor Trailer from the Ground ! WHAT A COMEDY ! LOL

This show had a lot of funky disco-esque music. It made me want to dance more than fight. Awesome show. Love Lee and Sho.

This is the the NBC TV show, "The Master" which aired 13 episodes starting January 20, 1984, not 1978. This was episode #2.
