I had stuff like this only when I had high ping... however, for me most annoying thing was that hits in high parts of helmets weren't detected... but still, I love the game (note: I'm Spitfire, I used to be in {B4U})

@collieuk i just got into the hidden and dangerous series, so far its really great, me and another friend started playing online through tunngle a couple days ago. Hopefully he'll also get H&D2 SS so we can play that together, shame they didn't have coop form the beggining for the sequel :/

No it isn't free, however, Hidden and Dangerous 1 is FREE. Or believed to be. It requires a PC, probably an older one that doesn't have the Vista virus running on it.

when someone shot me heavily so i am nearly dead a black binoculars come around the screen so i cant see everything as before. and when i am healed it is still there. only when i save and load then it is away but i comes when someone shoot me again. do u know how to change this maybe in de controls?

This game had strangely awesome multiplayer with prolonged firefights mostly due to the fact that you could "lag dance" and hitting enemy requires leading your shots on them. Lots of fun.

The lag dances were ridiculous though. I used to play most of the time with just a pistol and knife and a grenade, without a helmet or other gear so I could run around causing hell. On Czech 4 it was often easy to be top scorer because whilst other players take it seriously and use cover, you're running from flag to flag capturing them whilst they have little more success killing you with their SMGs than you do killing them with your pistol. I had some fun times but the glitches ruined it.

The lack of support from the devs is what killed it. I tried to teach some people how to play. I'd consider myself a master I'd usuallly use a bolt action rifle or semi automatic when other skilled players use the BAR and the MP44. I pretty much stopped using nades too especially the contact ones. At least half the time i'd be able to kill a decent guy in 1V1 with an assault weapon. It was all about firing ahead of where hes going and predicting, not trying to snipe. just keep shooting

@collieuk I got the most of my kills on the Desert Airfield map using the double-barreled shotgun. Aiming for headshots, I was able to snipe with it, hiding inside the bunkers for cover.

If you click the 'Statistics & Data' tab, it says the artist and name of the song.

The band is 'X Levitation Cult'. The song is 'Habit Forming'. Basically when a copyright issue crops up, you can replace the audio with a selection of songs chosen by Youtube. This was the first one I listened to, and the only one that seemed to fit the video at all. Sadly all the sound effects from the game are now missing as a result.

To get a long name:

Go to your HD2 Directory (C:/Program Files/Illusion Softworks/Hidden and Dangerous 2)then go to Profiles. Right click a profile and rename it - bingo, longer name.

Yea this is multi-player. A bunch of us got together and messed around on our server for a bit. I used to play it a lot back in 2004. The game no longer runs properly on my PC, even though it's the same one. Which is a bit of a shame as it was great fun both online and off-line, although the net-code and collision detection (not to mention the glitches) made multi-player a bit crap compared to some other games.
