6:12 THAT IS ONE PISSED OFF SANTA! - Thank you for this video, as like you, I love Japan and want to work and live there for a part of my life. I also happen to love New York and had 5 trips there. The people and mix of culture is amazing!
Amazing!!! It was so great to join you on your vacation, if not in person, then very close to it with this video. And I was astounded to see that you had done the music as well - I had assumed it was a band and was going to ask you who it was! And I loved all the funny bits too, like the weird knish cartoon, and all the familiar faces. Inspiring!

@keltoi3000 ---- Thanks! Many students really like it ... some students will like anything that is on a screen, however. The things I thought they'd like the most (the inside jokes, where you see illustrations or photos from the textbook), they seem to ignore. Their favorite things were the dogs, the mountain of sushi ("sushiyama"!), the red flashlight (famous manga character named Raoul, I think), the subway, the arrest scene, Times Square, the restaurant name "Donburi-ya," and Avatar.
@KnocksX --- LOL, yeah. Trust me, but for making this film, I would steer clear of Times Square on a regular day, let alone on New Year's Eve. Living in rural Japan, being in Times Square makes me dizzy in a bad way.
