  • Is this Heli good for beginners???

  • @holdendude1996 YUP it is I was a total noob to cp heli's a week ago and now I can fly inverted takes practice I broke just about everything on it but just glue it back up.

  • @holdendude1996 Not really, for the beginning you should take a coaxial helicopter

  • What about wind does it affect it?

  • @theexpertrcpilot thats it's beauty though. It may look puny but its very much the opposite, more like a wolf in sheeps clothing lol, I absolutly LOVE this heli its more fun than I could ever ask for, I got it too learn CP becuase im gunna throw a align trex 600 together next and I know it was a very wise move, as although this is easily breakable in the wrong hands (i.e. Mine) the parts are easily available and cheap!

  • Great photography work!!!

  • "...every time i go to invert the tail blows out!" same thing here! It like the tail rotor motor is overcome by negative pitch. Otherwise it's a great little heli. I am logging a LOT of flights in my street that I just wouldn't get otherwise.

  • guess im banging to much collective i have this bound to my dx8 and every time i go to invert the tail blows out! and the factory recomended bind set up i just dont like! 30 percent forward 100 percent back and the same for side to side cyclic and 0 right rudder? but it is awsome full out 100 on every thing and the weighted blades on it i love to chase the bird's and give em hell! enjoy ur mcpx they are a blast!

  • Outdoors it looks so........puny.

  • ,a friend of mine bought one from a hobby shop yesterday and it takes about 10 foot to flip it smooth we tried every setting possible, and its very snappy even with 40 % expo good luck if u buy one

  • This is the best micro heli ever! I fly it outside in 10+ MPH winds, and it can even do 3D! Great for practicing flips, hurricanes, and FFF! Thanks HH.

  • I purchased one of these in a bnf. contacted horizon hobby and well that got me nowhere filled out the pdf replacement blade grip request and still after 3 weeks have heard nothing at all! Contacted them by email and still no response except for an automated one. I do not recomend this product for lack of support and a safty issue with the blade grip coming apart first flight striking me in the face. not fun at all. Dissapointed is what i leave this post with.

  • good job

  • It doesn't show the blade grip flying off?

  • @mtnbiker94 all you need to do if you have that prob is turn the baring around and use thread lock on the spindle

  • Is this at all forgiving in even a single crash, like would it require replacements if it crashes even a single time similar to a bigger heli (e.g. blade 400)? I am thinking along the lines that the more advanced a heli, the more easier it is to damage it in a crash.

  • @sadgreen i crashed the mcp so many time and all i have fixed is the spindle and tail cause it was cold out, this heli even flys in the wind

  • @pj1980123 Thanks for the reply. Thats sounds sweet! Its on my wish list now :)

  • don't understand why you would want this, when for 20 bucks cheaper you can have a bigger heli in the blade sr

  • @dvonlangen

This is a FULL CP helicopter... you can fly 3d with it. someting that isnt gonna happen with the SR. SR is crap compared to this little fella.

  • @13Anko I loop, roll, and flip my SR with no problems. I like the looks of this one for smaller areas.

  • @Sant9510 nah you will be fine just take each step nice and steady

the heli should be more stable than msr mcx or as stable because of the flybarless system , thats 3 gyros , working to keep it steady

  • been flying the msr and a walkera 4# 90 flybar do u think ill be able to fly it? cause im not really sure about it, since she is so small she might be squirly. Thanks..

  • There is way too much editing and too many cuts to get a good idea of how the mCPX handles out doors from this video.

Don't expect much from it in anything more than 0-2mph or so.

That being said, can't wait to get my hands on one.

  • There are much better videos of the MCP X, like the one where the pilot takes off from the pool table. BTW, this little heli is not marketed for beginners, beginners should look at the MSR rather as mentioned the MSR has self-correcting, the MCP X does not and will be easier to crash ;)

  • Hey dumb asses. It hasn't even come out yet you french peice of shit. Anything 3d is not begginer. Mr bold you are not bold by telling that stupid shit the truth. FLYBARLESS. Anyone novice should not get there hands on this but if they do they can't hurt it. Check out the revues before you open your fwwwwench estuped mowwth. Get a job and stop criticizing shit that isn't on the market yet.

  • @TheDrH20 You win! For having the foulest mouth on the thread. Your parents should have taught you better.

  • begginer pilot :) cool heli

  • You weren't rude. I did moot - "I'd like a novice to get their hands on one" (lovely hovering - no 3D obviously)

While French bloke mentioned mSR, I had in mind comparing - flying with 3 axis gyros - and without. Saw novice vid flying a tiny 3 axis gyro Walkera heli - and without - gyros assist a great deal. Flybarless mCP x may have additional issues

Although totally different sizes - I flew 6 mins on 3 axis gyro Blade 400 and Align T-Rex 600 - my first CP flights - didn't crash much

  • nice flight Perry

  • For a CP heli it doesn't spend much time inverted in this video.

  • On another French vid - I replied to a comment - who asked in English if it was easy to fly (even though the comment was in English I replied in French so the vid poster would easily read it)

In English my comment was something like - "With 3 axis gyros my cat could fly it"

But the actual vid poster disagreed - he said it will not be like the mSR even for basic flying

We will have to wait weeks to see - but I would like a novice to get their hands on one - to show us how hard it 'actually' is

  • @OghamTheBold Just because it has three gyros doesn't mean it will fly itself, in fact its the opposite. CP helis do NOT SELF CORRECT like FP heli's such as the mSR. Meaning this will not hover stable without stick inputs. Then it's also Flybarless meaning it takes less input to flip it since the flybar isn't there keeping it stable. I don't mean to sound rude, it just sounds like your a bit misinformed about collective pitch helis and hope this helps shed some light on the matter.

  • how much wind can this fly in?? i really want one!

  • @paperkid1995

Plan on it flying in 0-2mph and not much more bro.

  • The heavy iron motor (not shown in specifications for some reason) stops annoying 3D people showing off too much - and is quite useful extra inertia - in wind - for proper flying

  • you can probably crash this on grass 100 x and wont break!

  • cool!

  • Airport with no windsock?

Queen's back garden? Mine is 8 foot wide

Is there a Google map so I can get there - are there trains?

  • Pretty boring flight. There are better mCP X videos out there.
