  • boy thats a big lawsuit to rewire a whole house will cost some money.

  • @Thunderbolt1000T I think the problem affected the houses because, the upper , higher voltage line burned and then fell on the lower distribution line. That put a higher voltage than normal into the houses.

I wish the reporters could understand and report some depth.

  • Did he say "Main Gas Electric meter box"????

  • The tree company may be partly to blame ! BUT ! THE power companys circuit breakers must not have been working properly ! END OF STORY

  • @disableddogowner lol, but also the power company *should* have noticed the extra voltage surge too, and manually shut the breakers off.

  • Louis Keffaufer (sorry if it is spelt wrong), is that the same guy who owned the True Value Keefaufer down in Coopstown?

  • Why don't the news crews show the part of the video where the sparks shoot around the house? That would have made more impressive viewing than what they showed

  • live right down the road now. and actually work for kefauvers woohoo

  • hahaha this is right in front of my house and i never knew! lol awesome! no wonder they ALWAYS are out there cuting the trees back

  • these are great videos of Harford County twenty years ago. So scary though, I hope that never happens! Long live Belair hon

  • ...And this is why Aspen Tree Service is probably no longer in business

  • @elgavilan2000 asplund tree trimming is still very much in business, i see them blocking the roads all the time.

  • Man, Why were people uglyer back then? Less nutrition information or somthing?

  • Can anybody else see how overgrown those trees are in the proximity of the power lines?

  • I would say the insurance company for aspen tree service was the one that had to pay.

  • That's odd because if the wind had started the incident, who would be to blame then?. Seems to me if the power company wants to run 150,000 Volt line above 30,000 volt lines they need to provide proper protection.

  • Does anyone know how much that cost the power company?
