@Danh103663 i think thats kind of an unfair comparison. Jeff Tweedy has a more experimental way of songwriting. I feel like Ryan Adams can magically very very "traditional" style music an make it fresh, and very honest. I don't know if Tweedy could pull that off, so its good Wilco did their thing and Adams did his. Both are top 5 for me (with Adams #1 haha)

Another mega butchering of a song in the history of music must be the Pete Ham-Tom Evans of the Batfingers' WITHOUT YOU by Mariah Carey. Classic butchering. Paul didnt do that. When everyone was doing a Rihanna, Usher or Alicia Keys, Paul did the unthinkable. He did a Ryan Adams' song which was obscure even JLo didnt know. She claims to be a superstar. Paul did justice, now everyone wants to know Ryan Adams and his music. America please dont vote him out.

Love Ryan Adams no thanks to Paul of AI. Love Paul too. What is wrong with him all of you are complaining about. He is unique, fun, quirky and has great smile and he puts a smile on my face when he comes on to perform. I have never seen anyone like him since the days of Rod Steward. I think the people who butchered a great song was Celine Dion and Pia of AI with the Classic Eric Carmen song ALL BY MYSELF.

The only good that Paul did for this song is bring it to the front ... because I never heard it before and really like this Ryan Adams. These are great lyrics and I don't think Paul bopping around w/a smile on his face did it right ... grant it ... he couldn't sing the "screw all my friends" on Idol.
