just wondering, can anybody do the launching roundhouse combo?? tap x1 - hold x2 - tap x5 i cant do that it only does tap x1 - hold x2 - tap x2 then it ends...

Got 2 guys 2 lviv 30 and 1 is with staff which is freaking op and the other is 2 handed or hammer/axe and for me I love hammer cause you can get mega combos if you use it right

staff is pretty fucking op since you can do a stun lock combo or a high dps combo and pawn,i was expecting it to be aoe,but hey that would have really been op

i got other lvl 30 chars but one of em is using one hand and you cant combo at all with 1h if you just hold the mouse button at the right time and the other is dual guns ,its very good and fun but doesnt do anywhere near that dmg,with fire staff i rarely need to use skills

@TheAydinman yes it affects the blur behind the weapon, but you can also change the actual weapon color any time,

ok i doubt ill get a response but with dc universe going free to play in a few days i wanted to ask something about the powers and weapons. so basically i have my character already planned out but im trying to figure out if the weapon you choose interacts with the power you choose. example: i choose ice power and a staff, would my staff interact with my ice powers. like using ice from the staff?

@zonecore Only thing i know is that it does do that with fire.

I'm not sure about ice though. Probably some ice powers do, and some don't.

@zonecore Weapons and Powers are completely independent of eachother, meaning no power does something different if you're using a certain weapon. Each weapon has its own combo style and moves, each power does what it says it does.

@zonecore I really don't understand your question. You use your weapons and powers together, but it doesn't matter what combination you pick. Pick the weapon you like, and the power you like, thats all you have to do. If you haven't played the game yet, its much easier understand doing it yourself.

@zonecore Yes. Whatever power or weapon you pick, as you use the power the animation effect comes from the weapon.

@katak67 Hey, Im getting it for ps3 when it goes free to play and I was wondering which weapon is best overal and do powers effect the weapon? I was thinking two handed. staff, dual pistals, hand power or brawling/ martial arts. Btw can you have more then 1 weapon with a character? Can you have unlimited? Which is the strongest wepaon which is best overall and is quick does damage and fast? I though brawling because its more like what superheros do with their hands not weapons. probs staff or2HW
