  • courage....

  • It was probably best that I missed this decade.

  • @Jantv81 I hear you Jantv but I am of the opinion that we missed out on such a fantastic time to live! Those of us who are too young to have been a young person during the 60's. I think it was one of the best times to be living in USA. So much was happening. If I had a time machine I'd definitely choose the 60's as long as I could live in an urban setting. I would also choose the 20's era when the speakeasy, jazz and dancing and a more formal dress were the norm. Again, urban setting.

  • Thanks to the brave people who tried to teach us to be better humans;

  • Thumbs up if your watching this because of your Rutgers Political Sociology class.

  • @chadinov I bet that's a good class!

  • i hate white people in the south period! they are all bunch of racists pigs

  • @kichw Is it serving you well to carry so much hate in your heart? It only destroys you from the inside out.

  • @kichw by grouping them all into one category you are spreading racism

  • This is a powerful documentary and it shows exactly the inbred racism that has been taught to people throughout this country' history!

  • I hope that when I'm the age of the people that are went though the age of Jim Crow, I won't feel the way I feel right now after watching this documentary.

  • @Muzikmanflames Say more please. How do you feel after watching this?

  • @counselor2b Well.....As a young black man in America..........in the south.........the DEEP SOUTH. I have experienced Jim Crow. Now I was Born years after "Jim Crow" had supposedly died. Yet I have experienced Jim Crow for myself. I'm hoping that by the time my children reach Adulthood, They will not have to EVER experience Jim Crow........Oops! To late my daughter has experienced Jim Crow. How do I explain to my child that knows that she was better but wasn't chosen because of her color.

  • @Muzikmanflames Right, right. I know of what you speak. What you speak of is often referred to as James Crow, the son of Jim. James has to do more with the systemic racism rather then the overt ignorance we see in this documentary. James Crow is still very alive! That's the only way to explain 1,000,000 black men incarcerated in USA. The only way to explain why so many of us are constantly unemployed or underemployed.

  • @counselor2b Man you are a God Sent. Really I didn't hear about James..........As a young black man I have learned to think outside of the box......I tried school.....For some reason it didn't work out. So I depended on my gift......That didn't work out......So I went back to school...This time with a Different major......Didn't work out.....NOt because of Grades but because of money......so I decided to Do what my Uncle told me to do....Get the Information and do it yourself. So that's how

  • I'm trying to break the Cycle, and I'm taking as many with with me that want to go.

  • @Muzikmanflames I am glad you are enjoying the video and discussion. :~) Remember, there is hope!
