Twilight is an average book written at a younger level, I know several Elementary schoolers who really enjoy the series. Vampire Diaries explores different supernatural beings, many of L.J Smith's own imagination. Personally I like Vampire Diaries better, but when I was younger I was defiantly a "Twihard"
