My father was the director administration of this hotel Eden Resort & Spa, i'ts a 5 star hotel and i was in the next hotel riverina on this day, I will never forget it, should upload my video of the tsunami, but the hotel is now better than ever, it's in top condition. i would suggest more tourist to come visit sri lanka because the country has recovered fully after the disaster 4 years ago.

No one was killed at this hotel, I know because I was there and my father took the video. A lot of people have been saying idiotic and quite horrible things about the video so why don't you hear the facts before you judge from your computer seat. 1. I was 14 at the time and we had no idea what was happening, everyone back in the UK has the benefit of watching the news.

However my parents who were both doctors as soon as the wave subsided set up the emegergency aid station at the hotel and treated all the people there while most people ran for the hills.
