im sure any dancer would say that dance is not about sticking to the rules and sticking to the basics, its about expression and tho i don't know alot about belly dancing or whether this girl is doing the basic moves or not, she's feeling the rhythm and moving to the music, the dance is exciting and full of energy! I think they danced to another music, only for this video they took the original music away an put the rhythm over it. So you think it ist off beat.

Pops and locks are more american style, this is turkish style, seems to be of the 80-s perhaps. Turkish Bellydance is different from egyptian, american or european. Not more or less art ... only different.

You can see very well the typical turkish style. Interesting for Dancers, who want to learn the difference between turkish an egyptian dance
